First time out on MTB for several weeks - ever since I went A over T on the Black run on White's Level. And 3 weeks ago, I dislocated my thumb on my road bike when I hit a submerged pothole.

So, pretty unfit, myself, RandV, Ewan & Graham did White's Level singletrack down to the bottom of the black run, then back up the forest track and down the black run, back up the forest track again. At this point, Vicky decided to call it a day, not feeling brill - so she headed down White's singletrack by herself while the rest of us did a shortened Skyline.

By the last long, tedious, uphill grind just before the final Skyline descent, I was pretty creamed. Halfway down the last descent, & my thumb's giving grief due to the continual hammering. Legs were also on fire, so not the greatest speed ever! But a great ride nonetheless.

Back @ camp, turned out Vicky had stacked big time on the way down, landing on her head, & (feeling like she'd) torn a muscle in her side. :((
